FutureNet

Chastise umlauts one day, cut a biker out of a photocopier the next.

When FutureNet wasn’t a playpen it was a finishing school, drilling simians in Web 101.

I played musical chairs on a portfolio ranging from guitars to gaming; 50 sites and 500,000 registered users at a time when GIFs were audacious.

My strategy: Busk it. Optimise knitting patterns for narrowband? Done. Build a site from scratch? Done (more than once); Spread the word? I’m on it; Learn skills which still pay the rent? That too.
