The site requires regular updates together with publication of The Intrapendent, a team-wide email newsletter.

Creating and maintaining this modest venture allows a level of experimentation unavailable in commercial projects.

The ideal approach combines humour and interactivity. The site took off with the launch of Overheard, a section dedicated to colleagues' verbal crimes against coherence. Recent gems include, "I ended up talking about the Knights Templar in a Beefeater in Chigwell".

It's almost more satsifying than a pay rise.
